DEVELOPMENT IN CHILLIWACK
Although sometimes overshadowed by the Fraser Valley’s big cities, Chilliwack has continued to cement its place as a world class city will plenty to offer. With the downtown’s revitalization well underway and a forward thinking city council at the helm, it’s no wonder the city has been gaining attention from developers as far West as Vancouver. South of the Trans-Canada, Chilliwack’s Garrison Crossing offers a Whistler type ambience; with incredible shopping, housing, trails, and the renowned Cultus Lake only 5 minutes South.
The city’s industrial scene has also made waves in recent years, as Molson Coors opened its largest Canadian brewery just North of the Trans-Canada Highway. The 400,000 square foot building offers a glimpse into the city’s approach to methodical and calculated growth while revitalizing older areas in Chilliwack’s core.
